First let me add in this weeks apology. Sorry Roy. I missed entering your score last week, an easy task for me who is advised by his wife that ‘he would forget his head if it was loose’. The scores are now corrected and up to date.

A wet ground in the morning and a dry and windy shoot afternoon was the weather forecast and was spot on. Despite this, a largely unchanged course this week suggested that an improvement in returned scores could be expected and was, in fact, received. (Average score was 3 targets higher). Jonathan Skelding once again left his little Remi .410 at home and was rewarded with 79 broken clays which comfortably took the top Scratch score of the day.

Tony Gray was 4 targets behind in second place with Len Sandford a further 2 targets back taking the Bronze position. Dave Gee continued his improvment and recorded the best improvement of the day to take the Handicap Gold by 4 and a half points from John G’s mighty 28g. Well done Dave. Jon Skelding’s top scratch score also gave him the Handicap Bronze place by a tenth of a point from Tony Gray. A pleasing set of results all round.
