A much better performance today. After last week’s disastrous score, virtually anything would have been a great result for your commentator.
A cold wind prevailed but did little to dampen the results. Len took scratch top score, beating last week’s result by 10 clear targets. Jonathan Skelding held the lead for the first 9 of the 10 stands but dropped 4 targets on the last stand to miss the top spot by 3 hits and finish runner-up.
Simon Honeybourne continues to improve and finished with a super 76% to finish third on the scratch results and set himself a new best score this year. Handicap top spot went to Kit Taylor who also returned his top score this year and beat his average by a massive 13 clear points. Well done, Kit. Handicap runner-up was Simon’s 109 that was just over 4 points behind Kit’s handicap gold medal score. Len took the Handicap third position. All in all, a super day’s shooting and some very commendable results. Can we do better next week?
