A super day for a shoot but only 6 shooters chose to enjoy the day. The cream came to the top again with Geoff Pomroy taking the scratch top spot with an excellent 81 on a layout that that left everyone with a different tricky stand. Len, back from his extended holiday in Cornwall, was runner up, with 75 hits, just 6 behind Geoff’s score. Steve Honner took third place with 70 broken clays. John Griffiths, with the help of his mighty 28g was the top handicap scorer, beating his average by 4 clear points. Len was handicap runner-up, just a single point behind. Geoff’s winning scratch score, ensured he took the handicap third place.
