Scores September 2nd

What a change this week! Some of the scores suggest that a few shooters forgot to bring their shotguns along. Top gun was scored by Tony Gray with 68 broken targets. Runner-up was Aziz Al Redha, who managed 61 hits. Scratch bronze position went to Jonathan Skelding, who appears to be letting his little 410 do its own thing again. His 57 hits were his second-lowest this year, and the last time it behaved so badly, it was placed in the naughty cupboard and put up for sale (with no takers). It’s now getting its own back. None of the P.M. squad and only two of the A.M. group managed to hit their average score. Top handicapper was Drew Beaumont who topped his average by just 0.84%, Alan Bayley was runner-up, a further 0.7% behind. Tony Gray took the Bronze position a similar percentage behind Alan. All in all, it would appear that the course had been tweaked substantially since last week’s super set of results. Your Commentator is back from holiday this week and will be in attendance to test the ground for himself.
