Scores July 8th

The hot weather reduced fields badly, with the South Worcester afternoon squad deciding not to shoot. To compensate, the morning team visited Ian Coley’s again and returned a good set of results.

Simon Honeybourne put in the best score with an excellent 70 hits on what is usually a very testing set of targets. Suzanne Small was runner-up with 61 broken clays, another good score Suz, keep it up! Third place went to Alan Bayley with 54 targets destroyed.

Given the general difficulty of the targets at Coley’s these are a fine set of scores. Well done. Handicap top spot was taken by David Gee, who whacked his average by over 6 targets (about time David, lets see some more like this). Runner-up was Simon’s winning scratch score, less than 3 points behind. Handicap Bronze went to Mark Reacord. All in all, a super set of scores on a ground set up for professional competitions. Keep it up.
