To say it was reported as a hot day, was certainly an understatement, as many temperature records were broken all over Europe.

A mixed bag of results with only 3 shooters beating their average. Top scratch gun was Liam Dixon, still a relative novice but putting in some superb high scores and showing some very experienced shooters how to break clays. His 79 hits took top score, beating Jonathan Skelding into the runner-up spot by 3 targets. Jonathan Thornton pinched the third place on handicap difference from Steve Honner. Liam’s score also topped a tight trio of Handicap results. His 4.5 points, better than average, earned him the Gold medal spot, beating Jonathan Skelding into second place by 2 points and John Griffith’s mighty 28b into third place by a single point.
