A cool breezy day that settled nicely during the afternoon.

John and Becky, who set the stands up, were quite easy on us this week, targets were mainly hitable and some good scores were returned. Top scratch score came from Len Sandford who matched his best score of the year with another 85 broken targets. Runner up, just a single kill behind was Dave Salter with a score of 84.

Another single target behind Dave was Jonathan Skelding who’s 83 was just one hit below his best this year, and gave him 3rd place. Len’s 85 also took the Handicap top spot by the narrowest of margins. His 113.21 beat Alan Bayley’s score by 16 hundredths of a point. Well shot Alan.

Simon Honeybourne took 3rd place on the Handicap scale by beating his own average by over 9 points. As an observation, Jon Skelding has put in some decent scores since he he deposited his pump action .410 in the naughty corner. If anyone was thinking of making him an offer for said good looking, but delinquent weapon, it’s too late. Some sucker who collects guns that don’t work very well, (particularly Remingtons), has made an offer which has been accepted by Jon. About time, and good riddance I thought.
