A good day for shooting and an excellent layout which, the scores suggested, had been shot well by everyone. Nine of the days ten shooters all managed to beat their averages. (It was notable that everyone’s musket seemed to survive the day as well).

The top score of the day was provided by Geoff Pomroy who’s 88 was his best score this year. Geoff is shooting well and taking some beating these days. Scratch runner up was Steve Honnor who’s 84 was another best score of the year. Len’s old Auto is beginning to find it’s mark again, giving him 3rd place on the scratch results board. Geoff’s winning score also made him the Handicap top dog having beaten his day’s s average by over ten and a half points. Len took the runner- up place a point and a half behind Geoff. Steve took the Handicap third place. A most enjoyable day’s sport.
