A warm, sunny and, dare I say it, a spring like day. A super days shooting with a very mixed set of results from some very interesting and testing targets.
Only two did not reach their average but these were two that had been shooting very well recently. Top score came from Steve Honner who seems to have now sorted his gun fit problem and is approaching his best. His 84 was a great score. Runner up on the scratch scorecard was Geoff Pomroy, who was just a single broken clay behind. Third place went to Malcolm Sykes who had not shot with us for a couple of years but logged an extremely respectable 81 kills.
Good scores and good shooting all round. Top Handicapper was Drew Beaumont who beat his own average by over 13 points. A super improvement Drew. Silver spot went to scratch winner Steve Honner, who was just over 3 targets behind. Third place on the Handicap card went to Geoff Pomroy another two and a half points behind Steve. Another great day out Looking forward to next week.
