A bit cloudy but dry and no wind. That didn’t help the shooting a lot. I thought there were some awkward targets but with half the shooters beating their average scores, the layout could not have been described as difficult.
Top scratch gun was Jonathan Skelding who beat Len into second place by a massive 8 targets. He’s obviously sharpening himself up for his ski-ing competitions next week. John Griffiths’s 28g took the bronze position just two targets behind Len. Well shot John. The Handicap top spot was easily won by Drew Beaumont who scored over 11 points better than his average and produced his best score this year. Great shooting Drew, (let’s get to work on the 70 you scored last year now).
Handicap runner up was the mighty 28g. It’s certainly producing some good results for its owner at the moment. Handicap bronze position was taken by Jonathan’s winning scratch score. Out of frustration, I shall be changing my musket next week as I’m running out of excuses for the regular Semi-auto, (fingers crossed).
