First day of spring I reckon. Dry and sunny all day and a few daffs blossoming on the roadsides.
Becky let us off light again this week with an excellent set of mainly hit-able targets being presented. Two of our best shots failed to beat their average scores while virtually everyone else put in some super ones. Len Sandford put in his best score ths year with 82 hits and took the scratch top spot. Runner up was Steve Honner just 4 targets behind. John Griffith’s mighty little 28g equalled Tony Gray’s 72 but stole the scratch third place on Handicap adjustment. Great shooting John. The 28g also beat all-comers to the Handicap Gold medal spot with a score over 14 points better than his average. Len was runner up, less than 2 points behind with Kit Taylor returning another best score of the year for the second time in his last two visits. A great improvement Kit, Hope the gun-fit goes ok and finds you even more. A very satisfying shoot.
