A glorious sunny afternoon which would have felt spring like except for the typical winter temperature. The course was similar to last week’s with several difficult targets that caught most of us out. (stands 3 and 4 in particular).

Only God knows how, but Len’s miniscule 62 hits turned out to be the days top scratch score. Fortunately Jonathan Skelding had decided to give us a chance this week and came out with a fresh musket that had the same accuracy characteristics as every one else’s. He only managed 61 hits, which gave him runner up spot, (his worst score since last May). Third place was taken by Roy Kitchen with a 58% that beat Tony Gray’s identical score on Handicap adjustment. Well done Roy. Roy easily took the Handicap Gold medal with a result that beat Drew Beaumont, his nearest rival, by almost 4 targets. Kit Taylor took the Handicap Bronze position. A great set of resuts from the morning squad. They alone beat their average scores. Great shooting on a difficult layout.
