A better day, just a short bit of drizzle to dampen a cloudy and overcast day.
Course was still a bit tricky (for me) but, on the Handicap scorecard, scores were the best this year with over half the shooters beating their average. The ski-ing break clearly suited Jonathan Skelding as he remains unbeaten since his return. His 81 was a score he has only beaten once in the last year. Geoff Pomroy’s runner up score of 76 placed the top two scores in an impressive league of their owm as Tony Gray, (in the places again for the third time this year), was a further 9 targets behind and still took the Bronze place. Jonathan’s impressive scratch score also took the Handicap topspot, narrowly beating Drew Beaumont by less than 2 targets. John Griffiths took the third Handicap place a further 3 behind Drew.
Some interesting targets that tested most of us. Lets hope for something a bit more civilised next week.
