A cold, wet, and windy day with very few punters at South Worcester.

We were no exception with only 5 Dodgers in attendence. Course was similar and, to my mind just as difficult, as last week with stands 5 and 8 ruining my score for the day.

Jonathan Skelding returned intact from his skiing holiday, (I suspect Father Time may be slowing him down a little) but this did not affect his ability to break clays. On a tricky ground he broke 72% and took the scratch top spot, 2 ahead of runner up Geoff Pomroy, who genarally takes a lot of beating. Steve Honner’s 62 just beat Len’s lowly 60 into third place. Handicap Gold and Silver scores were a mirror of the scratch results with Len just sneaking some consolation with the Handicap third spot.

Hope things improve on all fronts, scores and weather, next week.

Scores – South Worcs.
