A thin day on the shooting front. Only one score from the morning squad and only four scores from the afternoon. A few years ago, my nephew Jack gave me his Browning (spit twice loudly) shotgun as he was about to get married and his shooting had to be given up. I decided to get Jack’s old gun out of the cupboard and see if it was still working. After a couple of stands, I was reminded of why Jonathan Skelding’s pump action .410 was so cheap. I was missing everything. with the free musket.

Geoff Pomroy gave us a free shooting lesson breaking 79% of his targets, Simon was runner up with 66 broken Clays. I was third with a similar score. Simon matched his average and took the Handicap top spot, beating Geoff by over two points. John G’s mighty 28g was just a single point behind Geoff’s.

Can you please whatsapp or message me your scores. (07836 367889) They are better late than never, and they do make for a better commentary.
