Scores October 22nd

Some grumbling in the clubhouse when I arrived. The targets had been testing according to the morning squad, and by the end of the day, I knew what they meant.

The scores, (mine included) were low, suggesting that a tricky course had been set up this week. Steve Honner was top scratch gun with 75 broken targets. My miserable 66 entitled me to runner up place. John Griffiths, another 6 further back, took the third spot. Handicap winner, with a clear 5 point improvement on his average, was Kit Taylor. Well done Kit. Mike Allen took thr Handicap runner up position, beating his current average by 2 clear points. Third place, just half a point behind, was John Griffirhs. A good day’s shooting, but let’s hope next weeks targets are a little more forgiving.
