A thin day on the ground this week but there had been a strong hint of a wet afternoon from the weather girls so I suspect a little prudence was in the air as well.
It was great to see Steve Honner hitting them well again. Until his last two shoots, he had been well out of form but another 81 made him comfortably top scratch scorer, beating Len by a solid 5 clays. Ian Edwards took the third spot with a solid 70. Ian has suffered for several years with a damaged shoulder which has forced him onto tiny calibre muskets to try and stay in the game, He now feels a little stronger and used his faithful old 12 g last week. Well done Ian. Steve also took the Handicap topspot, beating his average by almost two points, Ian was runner up, just about a single point behind Steve with Simon Honeyborne taking the Handicap bronze spot another half a point behind.
