A cracking shoot with only one score dropping below average.
We were blessed again by the presence of our historic squad champion, Paul Stokes. Paul once again inspired great improvements which, I’m sure, lifted everyone’s scratch scores and demonstrated how South Worcester targets should be disposed of. His score of 90 beat Geoff Pomroy, (our current champion, in Paul’s absence) by three points Len’s 80 breaks taking third place.
As stated, there was a super range of results all round. However, the Handicap front provided the real star. Simon Honeybourne matched his best score this year and exceeded his average score by almost 9 points. A super result Simon. Handicap runner up, just over two points behind, was Geoff Pomroy, closely followed by Jonathan Skelding just a quarter of a point behind Geoff in third place. A great day’s shooting.all round. Well done everyone. PS. Apologies Paul, one of your scorers couldn’t add up and gave you two extra points on your score card. absolutely no affect on the results.
