I missed some excellent shooting from the look of last weeks scores.
Just two shooters didn’t hit their average. Top gun was Geoff Pomroy who posted a 90’s score for the second time in a month. His 90 kills beat runner up, Jonathan Skelding, by a massive 12 targets. Geoff has certainly come on since winning ‘the most promising newcomer’ just a few years ago. He’s certainly taking some beating these days. Dave Salter was well below his best but still managed to take scratch 3rd place with 74 broken clays. At almost ten points better than his average, it is no surprise that Geoff also took the handicap top spot. Kit Taylor was runner up, less than two points further back. A great performance Kit, Roy Kitchen was in Handicap third place after beating his own average by over 6 points. A mention too of David Gee, who’s score this week was only two hits below his best score this year. Yes, there were some super, improved results this week. Lets keep it up.
I’m back from holiday next weekend so should, (God willing) be up for a shoot next week, (Aug. the 27th), so quite looking forward to making loud noises again.
