Peeing down in PadStein as I write this commentary. Not complaining as I’m hoping to be back for a couple of days this week and hopefully sneak in a couple of shoots at South Worcs on Wednesday.
Scratch winner this week was Jonathan Skelding who’s 80 hits beat an unlucky Steve Honner’s similar score on Handicap adjustment. Word on the street was that Steve entered stand 3, (a going away rabbit and a low tower driven) with great confidence yet only just avoided a smiley. I’m told excessive profanity prevailed.
Geoff Pomroy’s 74 filled the third place. Jonathan’s 80 easily took the Handicap top spot with Tony Gray’s 20 bore, around 10 points behind, taking the silver medal place. Kit Tayor’s 50% score earned him third place on the Handicap rating. Well done again Kit.
The sharper S.W. targets have clearly improved the Blackbrook squad this week. Two best scores took two top scratch places. David Gee’s 68% took top spot with Mark Reacord’s 60% as runner up. Alan came in third. Handicap top spot wad David again but only by a fraction of a point from Mark. Alan, in third place did not have a good day. Condolences, Alan.
