Another fine day at South Worcester, (I could get used to this weather). Steve Honner took the scratch top spot with an excellent score of 84 beating Geoff Pomroy by 5 targets. Aziz and Len Sandford both scored 75 but with handicap scores added, Aziz took the third place by almost 6 points. Well done Aziz. His handicap score is based upon only a couple of results this year, but a 14 point improvement on his previous score was a mighty acheivment and earned him with a winning score on the
Handicap ratings. Suzanne’s 59% score was over 5% better than her average and easily put her in second place with Steve Honner’s scratch winning score giving him third place on the handicap ratings. With only one shooter not beating his average, this was a fine set of results.
Just 3 results from the Blackbrook ground. Dave Gee found some good form at last and took the top spot in both the Scratch and Handicap ratings with his 65% breakage rate setting himself a new top score of the year and beating his average by a superb 11%. Alan Bayley was scratch runner up with a 53% kill rate. This figure, being his first score at the ground, became his initial handicap benchmark and on the day placed him second on both the scratch and handicap scores. Mark Reacord marginally missed his average and took third place in both the score ratings.
South Worcs.
