A fine springtime day, My first without an item of winter clothing. Here’s hoping there’s a few more to come.
Top scratch gun was Howard Smith, an absentee since 2022. He hasm’t lost his touch and put in his best score yet, his 81 kills beating his previous best by 5 clear targets. In a closely fought shoot, he beat Len Sandford and Geoff Pomroy by two targets. Len pinched the runner up spot on Handicap difference. Len’s 79 beat his average by over 6 points to win him the Handicap top spot. Simon Honeyborne was runner up just two targets behind allowing Mark Reacord, who beat his average by over two hits to take the Bronze medal position. With a great weather forcast next week I’m expecting a bit of sunshine on our backs wil help us to start cranking up the scores a bit.
