Plenty of work went into the S.W. ground this week with many changed stands. We had difficult targets but a glorious day to try and sort them out. That only one person beat their average was a good indication of the course difficulty. It certainly knocked the confidence of a couple of Dodgers who thought they had the ground sorterd last week.

Top scratch was Len who’s 69 beat Dave Salter’s similar score on handicap adjustment. Jonathan Skelding’s 63, shot with one of his many pump action guns, took third spot. (He owns an impressive American Police issue version which he shoots very well). Handicap Gold went to Sue Small who returned to S.W. with a vengeance (and with the minimum of prompting), beat her previous best score by 9 points, Her score beat Len Sandford, the runner up, by 11 clear points. A great round Sue. Jonathan Skelding took the handicap third place.

At Blackbrook, the squad put in a clear improvement this week with everyone beating their average. Top scorer was Roy Kitchen with a 61% kill rate closely followed by Mark Reacord, just two targets behind. Dave Gee was just one more target adrift. Handicp winner was Dave Gee, with Mark and Roy taking the second and third places. A super improvement Dave, let’s keep it going.
