A mild day and a fresh set of targets at South Worcester last week Geoff Pomroy topped the scratch scores with an excellent 80 kill rate. Tony Gray was just a single target behind and just one target behind his best score this year. Dave Salter, (who, with Len, shot every stand as close to a sim pair as we could manage with the radio buttons) took the third spot with 77 broken targets. Kit Taylor put in his best score this year to take the Handicap topspot. Ten and a half points better than his average. A super improvement Kit. Tony Gray filled the Handicap runner up position just two and half points behind Kit. third place on the Handicap scores went to Jonathan Skelding who beat his average by over 6 points.

Good scores all round lads. No results were submitted from other grounds last week. I can only speak for S.W. but we have at least three squads most weeks, so anyone who wants to join us can easily tag on to an existing team or be made head of a new one if that was what they preferred.

I would love to get around other grounds, (Wedgnock is one of my favourites) but I have commitments that make visits to other far away grounds quite impracticable, Trevor, who I take out for the day, doesn’t shoot but he thoroughly enjoys a day socialising and chatting with old friends he has known for many years and who fully understand his memory situation. This would not be the same at other grounds but on the plus side, it does mean I can enjoy a couple of rounds at SW each week.
