S. Worcs

A good set of results from SW with Geoff Pomroy taking a tightly contested top scratch position with a great result of 78 broken targets. Runner up, just a single target behind was Steve Honner. I took the third spot with 69. (As I shot two rounds. I logged my lower first score to avoid any suggestion that I had shot a practice round).

We’ve not enough data to work out a handicap rating yet but I’ll do my best next week. A super course at South Worcester this week. It was good to shoot the high left to right to left crosser on stand 4 again.

Wedgnock

Tight scores at Wedgnock too. Ian Jeffries popped in a great 76% to ward off Bob Warder and Simon Honeyborne who tied for second place with just two less broken clays. Chris Arthur’s 73 missed a place by just a single target. Some great competition from the looks of the scoresheets. Once again, I’ll do my best to get a Handicap hierarchy worked out next week. As an aside, I hear Shane is hoping to get his first shoot off the ground on the 16th of February at Forhill Farm, the old John Timmin’s ground. Lets give him our best support.
